As well as all the usual attractions – Helena’s cake, endless teas and coffees, representatives of Stoma Product Companies, raffle and scintillating conversation we are hoping to welcome guest speaker(s) from The Novalis Trust. Gordon Cole, one of our members, is Chair of the Board of Trustees for this charity which provides education for all ages with emotional and behavioral difficulties and special educational needs. This includes a residential school near Stroud and a care home for adults with learning difficulties near Painswick, Glos. We are hoping that some Occupational Therapists will come along to talk to us about the work they do and, all being well, they will bring a therapy dog with them to meet us all!!
